The CN72000 Series Temperature/Process Controlers offer a high level of standard features in an economical 1/4 DIN package. Featuring universal input for thermocouples (J, K, E, T, L, N, B, C, S, R), RTDs (100ohms Plt. NIST,
100ohms Plt. DIN, 120ohms Ni industrial, 1000ohms Plt. DIN), differential input
(-10 to +10 mVdc), and process input (0 to 20 mAdc, 0 to 10 Vdc); the CN72000 Series offers easy setup for most temperature and process applications. A standard
24 Volt isolated, regulated power supply is included to power most standard 4 to 20 mA transmitters.
Standard features include Autotune, Fuzzy Logic, fully adjustable PID, Auto/Manual control with bumpless transfer and front panel activation key, percent output indication, peak and valley indication, loop break protection and indication. For process inputs the display is fully programmable from -1999 to +9999 with user placeable decimal point. Most thermocouple and RTD inputs
can show whole or tenth degree display. The ramp/soak function has 16 programmable segments, four end of program options, and
a run/hold key on the front panel.
The CN72000 Series is available with dual setpoint outputs, and can be programmed for on-off, PID or heat/cool or latching alarm. All outputs are isolated from the inputs. Outputs include 10 Amp relay,
2.5 Amp SSR, and 0 to 20 mAdc (scalable). 15 Vdc SSR drive is a standard feature on relay and
ac SSR models only. Optional dual alarms are fully programmable. Other options include Analog Remote Set Point, Analog Retransmition of either Process Variable or Set Variable, and
4-Stage Set Point.
The CN72000 sets a new standard in quality, features, ease of use, and value. While having
the highest level features and functions, many function setup items only appear in the control menu
when the function is selected. There is no need to wade through unnecessary menu items to get to the
function you need. For the best value in a 1/4 DIN control, the choice is the OMEGA¿ CN72000 Controller.
